The amount of time needed will depend on the Invisalign treatment that is right for you. Some cases require minor movements and the treatment could be completed in as little as 14 weeks.

For larger cases where more movement is required, it can take up to 18 months to complete the treatment.

Once you have had your Clincheck with us we will be able to tell exactly how many aligners will be needed to achieve your required result and how long this will take.

Prices vary subject to the Invisalign treatment you need. There are three different treatments available:

Invisalign i7

This is the entry level Invisalign treatment and is designed for patents who’s teeth only require a small amount of movement. The reference i7 refers to the number of aligners you will need to complete the treatment. 7 sets are provided with the Invisalign i7.

Invisalign Lite

As the name suggests this treatment is for more lite cases where the teeth require a moderate amount of movement. The more movement needed means more sets of aligners are needed and as a result, the Invisalign lite case offers 14 sets of aligners.

Invisalign Full

This is the original Invisalign treatment and is designed to treat more advanced cases. As cases can vary there is no set amount of aligners for the treatment and you can continue to make adjustments until you are happy with the result.

Invisalign is the clear way to beautiful straight teeth. This revolutionary ‘invisible brace’ system has helped millions of adult patients all over the World to finally get the smile they’ve been dreaming of.

It’s perfect for anyone who is looking to straighten their teeth quickly, yet with the ultimate in discretion and comfort.

Invisalign is more popular than ever before, particularly in teenagers and adults who are keen to improve their smile, but not so keen on letting everyone else know that they are having orthodontic work.

Some of our adult patients had their teeth straightened in childhood, but have been disappointed to find their smile has relapsed. Others have never had the opportunity for any type of tooth straightening in their childhood and, although they’ve thought about it for many years, have been put off by high costs, long treatment times and the embarrassment of highly obvious metal braces.

With Invisalign you are also benefiting from a revolutionary 3D technology called Clincheck ®. This allows us to track your treatment on screen before we even start- simply by taking some impressions of your teeth!

With this data, we can make your full set of aligners in advance storing them at the practice ready for you. Each one will need to be collected by you and worn for 2 weeks. At the end of this period, simply return the old aligner to us and collect your new one. Your teeth will be moved gradually over the next few months, resulting in a brand new smile you’ll be proud to show off.

There is no need for a lengthy fitting appointment, as you’d get with fixed braces. There is also no need for regular tightening appointments or frequent check-ups. The whole process is much more convenient, comfortable and hygienic too.

With treatment planned in advance, timings are often reduced (as is the cost), making Invisalign the ideal choice for many patients. The length of treatment differs on a case-by-case basis and can range anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Average length is between 12 and 18 months.

We will fully check your teeth and gums before any treatment begins. It’s important to make sure they are all healthy and able to be moved. It may be necessary to take x-rays and photographs.

We will also take impressions of your teeth to produce a detailed treatment plan. At this point you can find out more about expected treatment times and costs. View your teeth on the computer. See how they look now, how they are expected to move and what they could look like following treatment.

Your aligners will be custom made and sent to the practice.

When you collect your first aligner we will show you how to use it, giving you instructions on how to look after it properly at home. Wear it for as long as possible every day for best effects (at least 22 hours each day). After 2 weeks, simply return to the practice to collect your next aligner.

We will schedule check-ups every few months so that we can check on the health of your teeth and the progress of treatment.

When treatment is finished, we will provide you with a set of retainers to help keep your new smile looking great.
