We would like to offer you a warm welcome to Claydon Dental, Buckingham, a leading private dentists in Buckingham. Our long established practice lies in the heart of Steeple Claydon, a small village 10 minutes from Buckingham. Our experienced team has been providing the residents of Buckingham, and beyond, with the highest quality private dentistry for over 15 years. Away from Buckingham town centre’s traffic and parking restrictions, we offer complete convenience with ample, complimentary patient parking. 

From regular examinations and hygiene therapy to restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign, Claydon Dental offers its valued patients a wide range of treatments on a private basis.

The practice is closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm every day except Friday.

Should you have a dental emergency outside of the practice opening hours, please call 01280 820869. This service is provided by a collection of practices operating in the Buckingham area. When calling the service, you will be prompted to leave a voicemail, then an on-call Dentist will contact you back. 

Alternatively, you can contact NHS 111 or visit your local A&E department.

Other Information

We will aim to ensure that you are cared for by your preferred dentist. Where this is not possible, we will explain the reasons. Please let our receptionists know when you book your next appointment.

We encourage our patients to receive regular dental care to achieve and maintain good oral health. We will undertake a dental care assessment during your first appointment to assess and agree your treatment needs.

Our treatment areas can be accessed by patients using wheelchairs and other walking aids.

If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about, please give us a call before your appointment and we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs.

Missed or Cancelled appointments result in wasted time that could be used by other patients. We ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, you let the practice know and give as much notice as possible and, at least 48 hours. If you cancel an appointment, on more than one occasion, with less than 48 hours’ notice consecutively, we may no longer be able to offer you treatment. We will of course take any special circumstances into account. Please see our practice fees policy available at reception.

Patients who are violent or abusive to practice staff, other patients, or anyone else on the practice premises will be refused treatment and reported to the appropriate authorities.

We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and have systems in place to protect all personal information. All patient records are stored securely. We do not release information to a third party without your express permission unless the information is required by law. A copy of the practice confidentiality policy is available at reception. You can also request information about your rights to view your records.

We accept the following methods of payment at the practice:
Cash and all major credit and debit cards.

We have teamed with DPAS Limited to design a dental plan to reward our loyal patients. The plans are administered by DPAS who will make a separate arrangement with you to manage your payments under the plan. The plan will provide advantages to you and to us. It will allow us to plan your dental care more efficiently and provide the best chance of keeping you dentally fit. For more information on our dental plans, please speak to one of our receptionists.

However, if you are experiencing significant bleeding that won’t stop, severe pain that is not helped by painkillers, or significant facial trauma, visit your local A&E department right away. Out of hours, you can also call NHS 111 for further medical advice.
